2015 Texas Duck Stamp Print. Ring-necked Duck by Bruce Miller. This Texas duck stamp print of the beautiful ring-necked duck has been custom framed by our family’s custom retail frame shop. It is framed with conservation grade acid-free materials plus UV blocking glass to protect and preserve this limited edition print for generations. The frame is solid wood with a beautiful faux leather veneer with a dark brown finish. The matting is a deep navy blue on top with gold & brown mix center and dark blue faux leather matting. All the colors are a neutral palette that bring out the natural beauty of the colors and texture in this beautiful bird, especially his golden eye. The 2015 duck stamp print is the last year these prints will be issued. If you’ve always wanted to own one of the beautiful pieces of art this is your last opportunity. Unfortunately, Texas has decided to discontinue the publishing of the wonderful prints. Hopefully the state will realize this mistake and will reconsider at a later date. Bruce Miller is a Minnesota wildlife artist who showed his artistic talent at an early age. He majored in art at St. Miller, an avid outdoorsman and Eagle Scout, tried a variety of artistic styles and subjects before settling on wildlife. He won the 1993 Federal Duck Stamp Contest and was the 1999 Ducks Unlimited International Artist of the Year. He has painted four previous Texas Conservation Stamps. About the custom framed piece.
