This lot isd for a mint SG154 – 4d Grey- Brown (plate 17) Victorian Surface Printed Stamp – Watermark Large Garter – Excellent Colour and Centering with some original gum. A very faint diagonal inverted crease mentioned for accuracy – Hardly detracts from the quality of centering and colour of this scarce mint victorian issue. There is also a faint expertising mark in purple ink in the bottom right hand corner but this is difficult to distinguish accurately and can be seen in the reverse image.
