Vintage Vhtf 6-3/4 Shafford 4150 Lady Head Vase Headvase Mint Condition Stamped

She is very hard to find and is highly coveted among new and seasoned collectors alike. The lady is wearing a black dress with an off-white ruffled front trimmed in gold. Her matching black hat has an off-white underside with small black polka dots. The hat is crowned with two large off-white plumes with gold accents. She is wearing red lipstick and matching nail polish. Her beautiful blonde hair forms bangs in the front and long cylindrical curls on the sides and the back. Her hair and makeup are perfect. She is missing her left earring; however, it is set aside in a Ziploc bag and will be included with the vase. There is no glue residue on her left earlobe where the earring once was. The lady has no chips, cracks, scratches, paint loss, restorations, or repairs. She is in mint condition. For the sake of accuracy, she has sporadic areas of clear crazing. She also has a few small stray marks on the front of her sleeve and on the back of her hat. These mentions are extremely minor and in no way detract from her attractiveness. The vase’s bottom is stamped 4150 JAPAN. Her dimensions are 6-3/4″ h x 5-3/4″ w x 4-3/4 d. She displays beautifully and is just exquisite. 1,277 Postcard Album 1906-1960s Lifetime Estate Collection Antique & Vintage Lot

This collection belonged to Irene Heffner of Albany, NY as far as I can tell, and it came from the estate of her late son. The earliest cards I found were from 1906 and the latest cards were from the early 60s. Due to the delicate nature of the pages and cards, I have tried to handle as few as possible in order to keep the album as close to the condition it was found in as possible. I have not removed any cards, but over the 110 double sided pages, there are 43 vacant slots. Many of the earliest cards I inspected had missing or damaged stamps. There are both used and unused postcards in this album, but the majority I pulled were written on. The addressees are not all the same, and it looks like some cards were collected from friends and relatives. The majority of the cards over the entire date range were sent to Albany, NY. I noticed a handful of foreign countries, but the vast majority are from the United States. The cards span the entire US, but I would say there is a larger number of East Coast, and particularly New York cards in the lot. I don’t know when the album was actually assembled, but there seems to be a loose chronological order to it. Album pages and cards may be torn or creased and have general wear commensurate with age. The covers are rough, but it is best not to judge the book by them. This is the best postcard album I have found yet, and I hope it will find a new conservator to enjoy it as much as I have.
